Granola Recipe

Ingredients (2)

  • 20g Chia seeds;
  • 100g of oatmeal;
  • 20g of shelled almonds;
  • 20g of pecans;
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil;
  • 3 tablespoons agave syrup.

 

Granola is a muesli-like mixture, combining various natural ingredients, including cereals.

The recipe was developed by an American physician, Dr. James Caleb Jackson, in 1863.
After approximative tests, its creation was quickly appropriated and modified by Dr. Kellogg. (1)

Abs offers a variant to be prepared with the seeds of Chia and the Coconut oil.

To be taken in a bowl for breakfast or to prepare in the form of a snack, the granola is an excellent snack containing fibers and nutrients, for a healthy energy supply.

 

Method:

Pour chia seeds and oatmeal into a bowl.
Add the almonds and pecans cut in half, as well as the agave syrup.
Mix.

In a frying pan, melt coconut oil.
Stir the mixture well until browned.
 

Note: Agave syrup can be replaced with honey.
