Made from konnyaku, Konjac paste, a popular tuber in Japan, Shirataki Noodles are rich in glucomannan. This fiber is able to retain water, and by gelling in the stomach, quickly causes a satiety effect. In addition, it decreases the absorption of nutrients which allows to regulate the levels of glucose and cholesterol in the blood.
