Made from konnyaku, Konjac paste, a popular tuber in Japan, Shirataki Noodles are rich in glucomannan. This fiber is able to retain water, and by gelling in the stomach, quickly causes a satiety effect. In addition, it decreases the absorption of nutrients which allows to regulate the levels of glucose and cholesterol in the blood.

Shirataki Noodles is an interesting alternative to pasta and rice: they fit to the daily diet and many recipes due to their low caloric intake (maximum 28 kcal/100 g rehydrated).

Use

Directions

A 75 g bag of Shirataki Noodles is equivalent to 175 g of rehydrated product.

Boil the Shirataki Noodles for at least 8 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water. The konjac paste is tasteless: do not hesitate to salt or sauce the Shirataki Noodles.

A 250 g bag of Shirataki Noodles is equivalent to 600 g of rehydrated product.

Boil the Shirataki Noodles for at least 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water. The konjac paste is tasteless: do not hesitate to salt or sauce the Shirataki Noodles.
